Connected-Car Terminals and a Vehicle-Control App
Planning connected-car hardware, a mobile app and ongoing services together for overseas vehicle status and remote-control use cases.
Context
The product needed to address vehicle hardware, the mobile experience, data services and market-specific entry requirements.
My responsibility
I led product planning, definition and operations for an aftermarket connected-car system, including terminal requirements, supplier selection and app feature planning.
The work
I planned monthly OTA releases, followed up on connectivity and remote-control usability, designed hardware and data-service pricing, and coordinated regulatory adaptation and certification preparation.
Delivery and lessons
The work established coordination across terminals, the app and release operations. Planned vehicle coverage and recurring service revenue are targets, not realized results reported here.
